Take a selfie of you being frightened when you enter your new country:

  1. This is great! I have a funny feeling you would be way more excited than frightened. Haha!

  2. Hi Faith!!

This is a great post - you definitely look scared! I know that I would feel exactly the same way about traveling to a brand new country.

I hope that you are having a wonderful holiday break so far. Did you have a nice Christmas yesterday? What was your highlight for the day? My highlight was having a lovely picnic dinner with family and friends at your house. We all sat outside and lit candles and enjoyed our Christmas meal (chicken, ham and salads) in the candle light.

    What did you do?

Looking forward to hearing all about it and to reading more of your awesome posts for the Summer Learning Journey. Keep up the great work!

    Cheers, Rachel :)

    1. Hi Rachel!
I just got your comment today. I had a wonderful christmas down in hamilton. That is the reaon why I haven't been blogging a lot for the past few days. Two of my Uncles live in hamilton with thier own family. So all of us met at my uncle Steves house and we ate. Then we could open up the presents. It was great fun.

      Thanks
      Faith

  3. Hi Faith!

Oh, that sounds like a great Christmas. I hope that you had a wonderful time with your uncles and with your entire extended family. I actually have family who live in Hamilton as well. Aronui (my son) loves going south the visit his cousins in the 'Tron (our nickname for Hamilton)!

I hope that you have a wonderful start to 2017. I'm really looking forward to blogging with you again once you're back in Auckland :)

    Cheers!

  4. Faith - I love your selfie! It's so great to see you participating in the summer learning journey... it's hard work fitting it around family and holiday commitments, but you're doing so well. I'm glad you had a great time with your family in Hamilton. That's the best thing about Christmas for me, family time. Usually I go home to Gisborne where all my family live, but this year my family came to Auckland to have Christmas with us and baby Koa! Keep up the good work.
